Thanks, Dave. I love the idea, but I’m intimidated by the sci-fi genre in general. SO many others have done it so well for so long, there’s no margin for my “nonsense."
As someone who used to exclusively write sci-fi, new is needed! Your writing is not inferior in any capacity. It's exactly what the genre needs. We are all tired of the same five stories that use the exact same styles, written fifty different ways. We need more writers, new voices, different stories. And I fully believe that you could do it justice, your writing is amazing.

I’ve never really read much science fiction, but I’m gonna check out those Philip K. Dick books and see what’s going on there. I know he wrote the book that Blade Runner is based on.
You can do anything you want, Michael. There are no limits—what came before or what comes after doesn’t matter. Just write what you want to write. I’ll read it.
